Tuesday Tasties: Apple Pie Smoothie

A healthy and tasty twist on an American classic dessert.



Ingredients
Makes two tall glasses
1 sliced red apple
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp of sugar
1/2-2/3 cup of yogurt (depending on how tart you want it)
1 cup apple cider (I used Trader Joe's Spiced Cider)
4-5 ice cubes

1. Saute your apple slices with the cinnamon and sugar until soft.
2. Put all the ingredients together into a blender.
3. Blend on high.
4. Serve in a tall glass.

And bingo! Enjoy your smoothie with a healthy afternoon snack.
