Pucker up!
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, here are some of my favorite lip colors that happen to be just perfect for that special day.
1) Wet N' Wild Megalast Lip Color 371S "It's a Girl"
2) Proenza Schouler for MAC Lipstick "Mangrove Matte"
3) MAC Matte Lipstick "Russian Red
4) NARS Audacious Lipstick "Bette"
Pink is great for that sweet and cute girl-next-door look.
Coral is an energizing color and is great for those wanting a warmer look.
Red is your classic lip color so it is always beautiful and elegant.
Burgundy is perfect for those wanting to look more sophisticated and mature.
I hope these recommendations are useful. Of course, colors vary according to skin tone so be sure to test out lipsticks before buying them. I have a pinker undertone and am pretty fair-skinned and as a result, I tend to choose lipsticks that are colder colored because they suit my skin. On the other hand, if you have a yellow undertone you may want to choose warmer colors. If you noticed, all the lipsticks I chose have a matte finish so also keep that in mind when buying your lipsticks.
Tip: If you want a shiny finish, top your lipstick with a coat of clear lip gloss and voila you're done!
